We are currently in Moffett, OK where a historic flood damaged every home and building from major rains that happened upriver this summer. We're rebuilding 3 homes and also helping others as we can, trusting The LORD to help us keep our commitments. Unfortunately we've struggled to get volunteers, even locals to help us, which is truly sad. We're set up to handle volunteers so if you're interested in learning more about joining us, click here. Let Me Pray About That

Whenever an opportunity to serve The LORD is presented to us such as serving at church or even attend, give, go on a mission trip such as helping Calvary Relief, etc., we often say/hear, let me check my schedule, let me pray about it, I'm too busy, etc. I always say, if not this, then what are you doing to serve The LORD? Usually, it’s nothing or barely anything that would resemble sacrificing as The LORD dictates to us in His Word!

But ask someone to go to a sporting event, concert, etc., and see how many excuses they give you to not attend, NOT! Sad. and one day we will ALL give account and even though we Christians know this; it doesn't seem to matter.

Sacrificial serving The LORD is not an option for those who have been rescued from hell, as Paul tells us in Colossians 1:13-14, For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

If we’ve truly been saved by The LORD, then our lives WILL bare the fruit of repentance from the transformation. As Paul also tells us in Ephesians 2:10, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

We’re all should be discipling with each other and a lot of that needs to point us to doing those things that God has told us to do and not doing those things He’s told us not to do, ALL found in His Word! In other words, helping each other become more like Christ, the only “Good” in this world! (Romans 8:28-29)

In Hebrews 10:24 we read that we need to each spur each other on to do good works, the things that God has placed in front of us. The word spur has a sharp meaning, in other words, we’re not merely suggesting to one another to serve The LORD but prodding each other on!

Not really sure what we’re waiting on, but whatever it is today, it will just be something else tomorrow, if tomorrow ever comes! The time to get busy is now!
